Job title: Lab Analyst

Location: Bawal

The role:

As a Lab Analyst, you will help drive our goals by:

  • To follow Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules and practices to ensure the safety of self and others. To promote and encourage pro-active approach in EHS culture within Lab shift team, to provide feedback for all breaches of the EHS requirements.
  • To support shift supervisor and other JM Bawal departments within shift pattern for laboratory analysis to meet Customer requirements.
  • To follow Lab processes in accordance with Customer expectations and IMS requirements, e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, VDA 6.3, ISO 17025, etc.
  • To follow Lab processes for On-Time (OT) and Right First Time (RFT) strategy for all tested samples of raw materials, intermediate and final products.
  • To follow the standard application and usage of analytical methods and lab equipment to deliver an effective and efficient measurement and reporting.
  • To understand and utilize different JM Bawal systems: LIMS (enter results), WRMS, Minitab and SAP for Lab samples analysis process. To follow local interfaces between these systems and achieve total integration of system.
  • To follow the Electronic Standard Work Procedures (ESWP) applicable for relevant lab activities as suggest improvements.
  • To support to put in place the best practice and Continual Improvement (CI) in Lab processes.
  • To support to report the Lab shift KPIs for efficient monitoring of lab processes performance, for processes optimization and implementation of best practices.
  • To sort out day-to-day shift issues together with Laboratory shift supervisor to ensure the targets and priorities are being met.
  • To participate in the Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) system application to Lab processes.
