We are seeking an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions that accelerate business outcomes and modernize enterprise technology platforms. This role will lead the development of scalable AI/ML applications, generative AI solutions, predictive models, intelligent automation capabilities, and MLOps processes while mentoring engineering teams and influencing technology strategy.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in machine learning, data engineering, software engineering, cloud-native development, and AI solution architecture. The individual will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, data scientists, and engineering teams to transform complex business challenges into production-ready AI solutions. This role aligns with the AI/ML Engineering function, which focuses on developing and deploying ML models and algorithms into production environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions and intelligent automation platforms
- Develop and operationalize machine learning models, generative AI applications, agents, and predictive analytics capabilities
- Design scalable MLOps frameworks including model training, deployment, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management
- Partner with business and technology teams to identify AI opportunities that improve efficiency, customer experience, cost optimization, and operational effectiveness
- Establish AI engineering best practices, coding standards, model evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI controls
- Build and optimize data pipelines supporting model training and inference workloads
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, foundation models, and open-source frameworks for enterprise adoption
- Mentor engineers and technical teams in AI/ML development practices and modern engineering methodologies
- Ensure AI solutions comply with security, privacy, regulatory, and responsible AI requirements
- Drive technical leadership across multiple initiatives and influence enterprise AI strategy

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 8+ years of software engineering, machine learning engineering, or related experience
- 3+ years designing and deploying machine learning solutions in production environments
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and AI agents
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and automated deployment processes
- Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and data engineering concepts
- Solid programming skills in Python and experience with enterprise software development practices
- Proven excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
