Overview: The Data & Insights Group is seeking a Lead Analyst to join our Analytics & Insights team. This role will be a senior individual contributor and an expert in analysis while also managing projects across Product functions. You will also create scalable insight frameworks. These frameworks will help guide strategic decisions for our apps. The ideal candidate operates with a high degree of self-sufficiency, brings deep analytical expertise, and is equally comfortable diving into complex data problems and presenting findings to executive stakeholders. This includes looking at how platforms perform, how users engage with content, what devices they use, their behavior, and video advertising metrics. advanced degree preferred.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">5+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or similar role, with demonstrated growth in scope and independence.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Proven track record of owning analytical workstreams end-to-end and delivering insights that have measurably influenced business decisions.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Deep experience in Product Analytics, including user behavior, involvement, retention, and funnel analysis in a digital or streaming environment.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience in Marketing, Content, Finance or Advertising Analytics.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Familiarity with media, online advertising, AVOD/SVOD business models, or digital ad sales processes.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong executive communication skills — able to distill complex analyses into clear narratives and present confidently to senior management.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to individually frame ambiguous problems and develop analytical approaches.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex query writing, optimization, and validation across large datasets.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, data-driven environment with shifting priorities.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional analytical engagements and manage stakeholder relationships with minimal oversight.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Strong Excel and data visualization skills.</li> </ul> Additional Qualifications: <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience with ad partner platforms such as Google Ads or Meta (Facebook/Instagram).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience with MMPs or similar platforms (e.g., Kochava).</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Hands-on experience with experimentation analysis including A/B testing, difference-in-differences, or regression-based approaches.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Exposure to data science or statistical modeling concepts (e.g., forecasting, predictive modeling) in a business analytics context.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Experience in SVOD, AVOD, or FAST environments.</li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Familiarity with Python or R for analytical workflows.</li> </ul> Paramount Streaming, a division within Paramount Global, is the home to the company's direct-to-consumer services spanning free and paid in the form of Pluto TV and Paramount+. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hiring Salary Range: $124,000.00 - 186,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
