The role supports the Financial Application Support (FAS) organization in managing critical finance platforms, including reconciliation, reporting, and accounting systems, while driving process efficiency, operational stability, and technology transformation initiatives. The position works closely with business and technology partners to deliver scalable solutions, strengthen controls, and enhance the end-user experience.
- Provide production support for the Reconciliation Platform and associated applications, ensuring operational stability and effective issue resolution.
- Monitor and maintain critical data feeds, workflows, scheduled jobs, and month-end processing activities to support business operations.
- Configure and administer reconciliation-related system capabilities, including account setup and maintenance, auto-match rules, and automated journal entry processes.
- Partner with process teams and key stakeholders to gather business requirements, evaluate opportunities, and support the delivery of system enhancements.
- Support system implementation and release activities through SIT, UAT, defect validation, and production readiness testing.
- Perform root-cause analysis of production issues and collaborate with Technology, SDM, and Product teams to drive timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Support audit, compliance, access governance, and control execution activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and operational requirements.
- Drive process optimization initiatives by leveraging GenAI and automation technologies to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance the user experience.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize business processes while contributing to the strategic evolution of finance systems and platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience supporting finance, accounting, reconciliation, reporting, or financial systems applications.
- Understanding of financial close, reconciliation, journal entry, general ledger, and sub-ledger processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, including production support, incident management, release management, and system enhancement initiatives.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, including SIT, UAT, defect management, and production readiness activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and drive issue resolution across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience collaborating with Finance, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
- Understanding of risk management, audit requirements, controls, access governance, and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to analyze trends, reconcile data, and support business decision-making.
- Exposure to automation, digital transformation, or GenAI initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency and user experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
- Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
