About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Advise line of business and companywide functions on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, and other complex data analysis to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standards
  • Provide influence and leadership in the identification of new tools and methods to analyze data
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
  • Provide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviews
  • Assist managers in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor to staff, interns and external contractors


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise security solutions.
  • Experience performing risk assessments, threat modeling, security reviews, and remediation planning.
  • Experience working with security frameworks and regulatory requirements such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, FFIEC, GLBA, PCI-DSS, SOX, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to lead initiatives independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced reporting and analytics experience using: Power BI, Tableau, Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, dashboards, automation), SQL-based reporting tools
  • Experience creating executive-level dashboards, KPIs, cybersecurity scorecards, and operational metrics.


Job Expectations:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise security solutions across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity, data protection, and endpoint environments.
  • Provide security consulting and technical leadership for large-scale technology initiatives and strategic programs.
  • Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, risk analysis, and control evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and remediation opportunities.
  • Lead investigations of complex security incidents, including forensic analysis, root cause determination, and mitigation recommendations.
  • Design and implement automation solutions that improve security operations, monitoring, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting capabilities.
  • Analyze large security and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, risk, audit, compliance, and business teams to ensure security requirements are incorporated throughout the technology lifecycle.
  • Review and correlate security logs, events, and intelligence sources to support threat detection and response activities.
  • Lead technical teams and mentor junior security engineers and analysts.
  • Influence cybersecurity strategy, standards, architectural decisions, and technology roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through automation, analytics, and modern engineering practices.
  • Support regulatory examinations, audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
