<div> Data Visualization Lead - Tableau | Power BI | SQL | Python Division: Datakulture Reports To: Practice Head Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 8+ Years (Senior / Lead) We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Data Visualization Lead to drive our organization’s data storytelling and business intelligence capabilities. In this role, you will own the end-to-end visualization strategy, design and build enterprise-grade dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI, and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders at every level. You will lead a team of analysts and BI developers, establish visualization standards and best practices, and collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and executive leadership to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization. A strong command of SQL and Python is essential, as you will work with large-scale data pipelines, automate reporting workflows, and build advanced analytical models that power our dashboards.   Visualization Strategy & Leadership • Define and own the enterprise data visualization strategy, standards, and governance framework across the organization • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of BI developers and data analysts, fostering a culture of data literacy and visual storytelling • Partner with C-suite executives, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-impact dashboards • Establish and enforce design standards, accessibility guidelines, and performance benchmarks for all dashboards and reports Tableau & Power BI Development  • Design, build, and optimize production-grade dashboards and interactive reports in both Tableau and Power BI </div><div>• Develop and manage Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud and Power BI Service environments, including governance, permissions, and data refresh schedules   • Implement advanced features including Row-Level Security (RLS), calculated fields, parameters, DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and custom visuals • Integrate AI and machine learning insights into dashboards, including predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and natural language query capabilities (Power BI Copilot, Tableau Einstein) • Build and maintain a library of reusable templates, design components, and data models to accelerate dashboard development SQL & Data Engineering • Write complex, performance-optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and model data from relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse) • Design and maintain semantic data models, star schemas, and aggregation layers that serve as the foundation for BI reporting • Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data pipeline requirements, ensure data quality, and establish SLAs for dashboard data freshness Python & Advanced Analytics • Develop Python scripts and notebooks for data cleaning, transformation, statistical analysis, and automation of repetitive reporting tasks • Build and integrate machine learning models (scikit-learn, XGBoost, Prophet) for forecasting, segmentation, and anomaly detection that feed into BI dashboards • Automate report generation, data quality checks, and alert systems using Python (pandas, NumPy, Plotly, Matplotlib) • Create and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python-based orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar) AI-Powered Analytics & Innovation • Champion the adoption of AI-driven analytics capabilities, including Power BI Copilot, Tableau Pulse, and GPT-powered natural language querying • Implement predictive lead scoring, demand forecasting, and customer segmentation models that integrate directly into executive dashboards • Evaluate and pilot emerging AI/ML tools and visualization technologies to keep the organization at the forefront of data innovation • Develop AI readiness frameworks and conduct internal assessments to guide teams toward data maturity REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • 8+ years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics, with at least 2 years in a lead or management role • Expert-level proficiency in Tableau (Desktop, Server/Cloud, Prep) and Power BI (Desktop, Service, Dataflows, DAX, Power Query) • Advanced SQL skills with demonstrated experience writing complex queries across enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse) • Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, SciPy) and visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) • Experience with data modeling concepts including star schema design, dimensional modeling, and semantic layers • Proven track record of building and scaling enterprise BI environments serving hundreds of users • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and Row-Level Security implementation • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or MBA with analytics focus • Experience with AI/ML integration in BI platforms (Power BI Copilot, Tableau Einstein, AutoML features) • Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric), AWS, or GCP • Experience with dbt, Airflow, Prefect, or similar data orchestration and transformation tools • Tableau Desktop Specialist / Tableau Certified Professional or Microsoft PL-300 / DP-600 certification • Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for BI development • Experience with embedded analytics and API-based dashboard distribution • Background in demand generation analytics, marketing operations, or revenue operations is a plus   TECHNOLOGY
