Your next career opportunity
In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee exam timetabling and data analytics as part of the examinations team in Student & Scholarly Services. .
You will optimise scheduling, systems and reporting to improve student assessment, wellbeing and major event experiences.
You will collaborate widely to drive innovation in digital exams and large-scale graduations and commencement celebrations.
What you will deliver:
- Lead the exam timetabling and data analytics team, ensuring consistent outcomes and strong performance.
- Plan, produce and quality assure examination timetables, working with stakeholders to integrate data with key student and teaching platforms.
- Develop analytics, dashboards and reports to support forecasting, capacity planning and continuous improvement of exam operations.
- Collaborate with other key stakeholders to timetable alternative exam arrangements and expand digital exam delivery.
- Contribute to planning and delivery of graduations and commencement celebrations, supporting complex, high-impact student events.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold undergraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline or bring an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Demonstrate expert experience in timetabling, scheduling or complex data management, including modelling and analysis under tight deadlines.
- Apply advanced data literacy, analytics and tools such as Power BI or Power Query to inform decisions.
- Lead teams through delivering consistent outcomes in high-pressure, complex operational or event environments.
- Drive process improvement and digital innovation, collaborating with developers and business analysts on system enhancements.
- Communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, managing competing priorities while maintaining focus on student experience.

Within the Graduations and Examinations team, you will help deliver large-scale, high-impact academic and ceremonial events.
The team collaborates across faculties and central services, aligning systems, data and logistics to enhance student experience.
You will work with supportive colleagues committed to service excellence, innovation and continuous improvement in exams and graduations.
