What you'll build <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will prepare data for machine translation, including data collection, cleaning, quality assurance, and automated data pipelines. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will adapt and evaluate open-source NLP tools and LLM frameworks (e.g., HuggingFace Transformers, vLLM) for use in SAP scenarios, including deployment in cloud- or cluster-based environments. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will develop and evaluate LLM-as-a-Judge metrics for translation evaluation as part of a focused research initiative. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will contribute to the productionization of NLP prototypes, taking models from experimental stages to deployment on internal platforms such as SAP AI Core. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will work with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Docker to build reproducible workflows for data processing, model training, and evaluation. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will collaborate on dashboards and monitoring solutions to track translation quality and model performance over time. </li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">You will have the opportunity to work on research-oriented tasks while integrating your results into larger engineering workflows.</li> </ul> What you bring <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">University graduate (f/m/d) with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, or a related field.
