You will provide technical as well as best practice support for all areas of test automation to the business.  What you'll be doing: <ul> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Lead Test Automation Efforts: Develop and implement automated testing strategies for functional, integration and regression testing, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Test Automation Framework Development: Lead the development, and maintenance of reusable and scalable test scripts, as well as supporting the design and development of our Global test frameworks</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Supporting Multi-Testing Streams: Ensuring that tests are developed and can be deployed to support multiple streams of work at the same time, such as multiple environment testing, as well as monthly releases</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Test Maintenance & Optimisation: Continuously monitor, update, and refactor existing test scripts to ensure they are up-to-date with application changes. Improve test efficiency, reliability, and speed through best practices and automation tools.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of test automation engineers, providing guidance, training, and support in best practices and automation techniques.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure that automation solutions align with the overall software development lifecycle.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Sprint Management: Managing Sprint activities to support all development and maintenance activities for our test automation framework</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Quality Metrics & Reporting: Provide regular status reports on automation progress, key metrics, and test results to stakeholders. Identify and track automation defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Integration with CI/CD Pipeline: Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring automated tests are run as part of the regular build and deployment process.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Troubleshooting & Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation scripts, tools, and test environments.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of automation frameworks, scripts, and test procedures.</li> <li style="line-height: 1.5;">Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes for enhancing the test automation pipeline, improving productivity, and reducing test cycle times.</li> </ul> What you'll need: <ul> <li>Proven Experience of creating & maintaining Test Automation frameworks <ul> <li>Utilising multi-branches for supporting different streams of work</li> <li>Supporting multi UIs (e.g. Desktop, Web, Mobile</li> <li>As well as 3rd party integrated platforms</li> </ul> </li> <li>Proven experience of the following Tools <ul> <li>Playwright, Selenium, Cypress</li> <li>GitHub, Jenkins, BrowserStack, Atlassian</li> </ul> </li> <li>Experience with DevOps frameworks and processes</li> <li>Experience with integration interfaces testing and tooling</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both with technical and non-technical audiences</li> <li>Experience in ERP automation in both Finance and HCM domains</li> <li>Exposure to AI Tooling ideally within the domain of Software Testing & QA</li> </ul> Who you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
