Job Description

He angituutanga: The opportunity 

Join our Maintenance Delivery team and play an important part in keeping our maintenance information organised, accurate, and easy to access. As our Maintenance Data Administrator, you'll provide essential administrative and data support that helps the team plan, deliver, and track maintenance activities across our portfolio.

Working closely with our Maintenance Planners, you'll manage and maintain key systems, process information, and ensure data is up to date and reliable. Your attention to detail and ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes will help support informed decision-making and efficient service delivery.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong administrative skills, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. If you're organised, proactive, and enjoy being part of a collaborative team that values continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications

Oo puumanawa me oo wheako | Your skills and experience 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in trade, administration, coordination or data management role.
  • Qualification in Asset Management, Engineering, Information Management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Data Analytics, or Infrastructure Management
  • Experience with asset management systems such as Infor Public Sector, Technology One, SAP PM, Maximo, Hansen/Maximo, AssetFinda
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and producing reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel and SQL
  • Confidence using systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to analyse information and identify data discrepancies
  • Experience within utilities, infrastructure, council-controlled organisations, local government or asset-based environments is desirable.

Company Description

Hamilton City and Waikato District Councils have formed a publicly owned, Council-controlled Organisation (CCO) to deliver water services across Hamilton city and Waikato district. The company is called IAWAI - Flowing Waters and will take over the provision of water services from 1 July 2026. This transition will occur in stages such as the current Watercare contract for Waikato District Council transferring to the CCO on 1 July 2026. Â
