</div><div><p><span style="">• Data Pipeline Development and Maintenance - Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses and data lakes. </span><br><span style="">• Data Architecture and Infrastructure - Design and implement data architecture solutions including data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming platforms using modern cloud technologies and best practices. </span><br><span style="">• Data Quality and Governance - Implement data quality checks, validation frameworks, and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across all data pipelines.</span><br><span style="">• Performance Optimization - Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency, ensuring data is available when needed with minimal latency.</span><br><span style="">• Data Integration - Integrate data from diverse sources including databases, APIs, third-party services, and real-time streaming platforms to create unified data repositories.</span><br><span style="">• Automation and Orchestration - Develop automated workflows using orchestration tools to schedule, monitor, and manage data pipeline execution and dependencies.</span><br><span style="">• Collaboration with Data Teams - Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence teams to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that enable insights and analytics.</span><br><span style="">• Data Security and Compliance - Implement security best practices, access controls, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) across all data systems.</span><br><span style="">• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, architectures, and processes to enable team collaboration and knowledge transfer.</span><br><span style="">• Monitoring and Troubleshooting - Monitor data pipeline health, investigate data discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability of data systems.</span><br><span style="">• Innovation and Technology Evaluation - Stay current with emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices, evaluating and recommending new solutions to improve data infrastructure.</span></p>

</div><div><p><span style="">• Partner with Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data technology vendors to determine the right solutions to business needs.</span><br><span style="">• Contribute to data platform strategy and modernization initiatives across the organization. </span></p>
<p><span style=""><strong>Business</strong></span><br><span style="">• Promote engineering craftsmanship and focus on delivering business value through reliable and efficient data solutions.</span><br><span style="">• Responsible for technical delivery and technical excellence of data pipelines and infrastructure across squads.</span><br><span style="">• Works across multiple squads or hives for delivery of complex data integration projects, Features, Epics & Releases.</span><br><span style="">• Point of escalation for data pipeline issues and delivery challenges across all impacted hives and squads.</span><br><span style="">• Work with Change Delivery Manager (Release Manager) to develop delivery and release plans for data projects with technical dependencies, aligning all partners with support from the team and architect.</span><br><span style="">• Exhibit passion for data quality and reliability with a user-first mindset for data consumers.</span><br><span style="">• Drive the domain towards future state of banking and technology through modern data practices.</span><br><span style="">• Ensure the technical consistency of data solutions with the business architecture, technology architecture and enterprise technology standards. </span></p>
<p><span style=""><strong>Processes</strong></span><br><span style="">• Study existing data engineering processes and contribute to improvements to drive up efficiencies in data delivery and operations.</span><br><span style="">• Analyse, remove, or mitigate data dependencies across teams to enable speed and quality of delivery.</span><br><span style="">• Responsible for the preparation of production data outputs and their planning in alignment to ESDLC standards.</span><br><span style="">• Implement DataOps practices to streamline data pipeline development, testing, and deployment.</span></p>
<p><span style=""><strong>People & Talent</strong></span><br><span style="">• Work on upskilling technical expertise of Engineers to enable them to become more efficient in data engineering practices and tools.</span><br><span style="">• Mentoring and training the squad on data engineering best practices, technologies, and methodologies.</span><br><span style="">• Share knowledge on data modelling, pipeline design patterns, and performance optimization techniques. </span></p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="margin:0.0px"></H2>
