Marketing Data Analyst
Role Overview
PIC, a Genus PLC company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Marketing Data Aanlyst. This is a 6-month, contract based position.
This role will support the implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM integration with a future marketing technology stack. This is a contract role scoped to data readiness: auditing, cleaning, and structuring CRM data and assessing system integration requirements before any additional marketing technology is introduced.
You Will
- Audit and profile existing D365 CRM data to identify gaps, duplicates, inconsistencies, and structural issues across accounts, contacts, and related records.
- Execute data cleansing and standardization, with documented criteria and outcomes for each data set.
- Map current data flows between D365 and any connected systems. Document what exists, what is broken, and what is missing.
- Define and document data integration requirements for future martech tools (e.g., Hubspot, Demandbase, 6sense, or account-based platforms). Do not configure or implement those tools; prepare the data layer for them.
- Deliver a written integration readiness assessment, including data quality scores, system gaps, and a prioritized list of remediation items.
- Write and test SQL queries or ETL scripts needed to support data extraction, transformation, and validation.
Requirements
Basic:
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, specifically data structures, entities, and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, profiling, and transformation.
- Experience conducting CRM data audits and producing data quality documentation.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred, given D365 environment).
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline fundamentals.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Exposure to B2B marketing data models, including account-level data structures.
- Prior work with account-based marketing platforms at the data layer level.
