Team Overview

We are looking for a Data oriented person with strong data analytic skills to support one of the TOP start-ups in the Food Delivery category across LATAM. In this position you will have the opportunity to create value by converting data into powerful insights to take key actions in the day-to-day Marketplace operations.This role, will allow you to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams like Pricing, Marketing, Product, Business Governance, Commercial and others within the Food Delivery ecosystem. By being part of the Delivery Marketplace team you will manage city portfolios with a best-in-class approach across the markets DiDi operates. As our data-driving team member, you should have a background and advanced skills in SQL, Excel, and Python as well as sound business acumen. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Build scalable operations processes focused on driving growth and efficiency
  • Design engagement strategies to increase and retain the number of couriers on our platform, as well as their online connection time
  • Generate data insights and work cross-functionally with departments such as Supply Growth, Business Governance, Courier Structure, Marketing, CX, and various regional operations teams
  • Turn raw data into actionable opportunities using visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, and big data platforms
  • Conduct research and analysis to produce clear evidence of the effectiveness and efficiency of product and operations initiatives
  • Build and maintain detailed reporting models, including core OKRs and growth funnels, to support city-level, regional, and market-wide consolidation efforts
  • Recommend changes to improve city performance across Mexico and regional markets, guided by the Marketplace pillars
  • Ensure data cleanliness and consistency to support sound analysis and decision-making
  • Document best practices to promote consistency and continuous improvement across the business unit and the company
  • Support the product team by providing input and feedback on new features and assignment models

Role Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience in consulting, operations, analytics, technology, or as an analyst
  • A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related field
  • Problem-solving: Skilled at gathering data, executing analysis, and structuring information to drive solutions
  • Technical skills: Proven experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and Google or Microsoft suites
  • Ownership: Strong prioritization skills, a feedback-driven mindset, and an owner mentality
  • Risk and ambiguity: Comfortable navigating uncertainty and taking calculated risks through innovative approaches
  • Analytical thinking: Demonstrated aptitude for analytical and conceptual problem-solving, with comfort handling quantitative analysis
  • Communication: Ability to convey complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Attention to detail: Detail-oriented, with a strong desire to learn
  • Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills and emotional maturity
  • Language: English proficiency to communicate with teams across DiDi's global operations
