The candidate will be supporting portfolio managers, helping implement solutions for our trading and risk systems. During the course of the internship, you will be exposed to the Credit, MBS, and Rates trading through projects and teach ins. You will work closely with mentors who will provide guidance and feedback.</p> <p><strong>Position Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Shadow the Cross Asset Group in order to learn the basics if various markets such as credit bonds, ETFs, and options, TBAs, specified pools, and mortgage derivatives, and bonds and interest rate derivatives</li> <li>Use quantitative analysis to identify potential trading opportunities and assess the risk of existing strategies</li> <li>Support the team’s research process, including data collection and analysis, prototyping, back testing, and performance monitoring</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Desired Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a quantitative, analytical, or technical field&nbsp;</li> <li>Quantitative &amp; programming skills (Python &amp; SQL)</li> <li>Knowledge and interest in financial markets</li> <li>Strong communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work independently</li> <li>Intellectual curiosity and motivation to innovate and improve</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working with AI, including practical application of machine learning techniques a plus</li> <li>Prior experience in bonds, credit, or mortgages a plus</li> </ul> <p><a href="https://www.gardacp.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Candidate_Privacy_Notice.pdf">Candidate Privacy Notice</a></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p></p> <p>Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education.</p> <p></p></div><div class="title">Hourly Compensation for this role is expected to be between:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$45</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$50 USD</span></div></div></div>
