Title of role: Merchandise Planning Analyst  Location: New York or Boston; Hybrid (2 days in the office required)  Approved Salary Range: $50,000- $55,000 About the Role: As a Planning Analyst you will utilize data analysis to optimize category merchandising performance, maximize sales and contribute to the overall success of the merchandise strategies and achievement of KPIs. Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Analyze historical performance to inform future action and strategies and capitalize on future opportunities for success.</li> <li>Develop an understanding of key performance metrics, such as gross demand, gross margin profit and inventory productivity.</li> <li>Provide analytical support to the Merchandise Planning team, contributing to effective decision-making and the overall success of the merchandise planning strategies.</li> <li>Track and evaluate the financial performance of merchandise categories against established KPI’s.</li> <li>Organize and prioritize workload for self to ensure timeliness and accuracy.</li> <li>Organize, maintain, and track the in-season event frameworks, supporting the overall operations of the business.</li> <li>Identify process improvement opportunities within merchandise planning.</li> <li>Foster a collaborative culture within the planning team.</li> <li>Actively participate in self-development.</li> <li>Build and foster effective relationships with Merchandising, Programing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of Merchandising strategies to support overall business objectives. </li> </ul> Experience and Background Needed: <ul> <li data-leveltext="●" data-font="" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"●","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">An effective communicator who loves to collaborate with others.</li> <li data-leveltext="●" data-font="" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"●","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Ability to adapt well to changes in direction and priorities in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment. </li> <li data-leveltext="●" data-font="" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"●","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Bachelor's degree preferred. </li> <li data-leveltext="●" data-font="" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"●","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">0-2 years’ experience: internships and co-ops are welcome. </li> <li data-leveltext="●" data-font="" data-listid="3" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"●","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); comfortable with reporting tools. </li> </ul> We encourage you to apply  Even if you don’t meet every single qualification, we’d still love to hear from you.
