Overview Lead and optimize logistics operations across Northern region with a primary focus on Ninh Binh DC and nationwide Import/Export activities. Ensure high service levels, cost efficiency, and operational excellence to support business growth through strong execution and continuous improvement. Responsibilities 1. Logistics Operations Leadership (Ninh Binh DC Focus) Lead end-to-end logistics operations at Ninh Binh DC, ensuring efficient inbound, storage, and outbound activities. Manage daily DC operations to deliver on-time, accurate, and damage-free order fulfillment. Ensure optimal warehouse capacity utilization, layout, and resource planning. Drive operational efficiency and productivity improvements at DC level. Ensure strict compliance with company standards (GMP, AIB, EHS, GCS, stock counting). 2. Transportation & Distribution Management (Northern Region) Plan and optimize distribution network, routing, and truck utilization to minimize logistics costs while meeting service requirements. Oversee daily delivery execution across Northern region to ensure OTIF and CFR targets. Monitor logistics KPIs (service, cost, productivity, damage rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Procurement on transportation sourcing, bidding, and vendor performance management. Control logistics operating expenses (OPEX) in line with AOP targets. 3. Import & Export Management (Nationwide) Lead and manage end-to-end Import operations for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure timely supply for production. Oversee Export operations nationwide, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, documentation, and delivery schedules. Ensure full compliance with regulatory, customs, and trade requirements. Optimize import/export processes to reduce lead time, cost, and operational risk. Coordinate closely with Planning, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless supply flow. 4. Warehouse & Inventory Management Ensure effective management of RM, PM, and FG inventories at Ninh Binh DC aligned with supply and deployment plans. Maintain high inventory accuracy and implement FEFO principles. Lead regular stock counts and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Proactively manage slow-moving and obsolete stock. 5. Planning & Cross-functional Coordination Collaborate with Planning team to align deployment, DRP, and replenishment plans to DC operations. Support S&OE execution by ensuring logistics readiness for demand fluctuations. Coordinate with Sales & Customer Service to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 6. Cost Optimization & Performance Management Develop and manage logistics budgets (AOP, OPEX) for DC and transportation. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives across warehousing, transportation, and import/export. Conduct regular performance reviews with 3PLs and logistics partners. 7. Organization Capability & Leadership Lead, coach, and develop logistics team at Ninh Binh DC and related functions. Set clear KPIs and drive a high-performance culture. Build strong team capability in logistics operations and compliance. Strengthen employee engagement and retention. 8. Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Act as control owner in line with PepsiCo GCS requirements. Ensure proper execution of controls, documentation, and audit readiness. Lead continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives in DC and logistics operations (WMS, TMS, automation). Drive transformation initiatives to build a best-in-class logistics organization. Qualifications Minimum 7+ years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Proven experience managing a Distribution Center (DC), preferably in FMCG or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience in Import & Export operations and customs regulations. Strong knowledge of logistics systems (WMS, TMS, SAP, etc.). Experience managing 3PLs and transportation vendors. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and transformation initiatives.
