The Children's Guild | Baltimore, Maryland
Are you a behavior analyst who wants to do more than manage behavior — you want to change lives?
At The Children's Guild, we believe that every child has the capacity to grow, connect, and succeed. We are looking for a skilled, compassionate Board Analyst to join our Baltimore team and provide expert behavioral support to students with complex needs in a therapeutic school environment.
Who We Are
The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance — one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our Baltimore school serves students with emotional disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and other diverse learning needs in a trauma-informed, therapeutic setting.
Our interdisciplinary team includes special educators, therapists, social workers, school nurses, and clinicians
- all working together to support the whole child.
The Opportunity
As a Behavior Analyst, you will be a key clinical leader within our multidisciplinary team — designing and overseeing behavior support systems that help students thrive in the classroom and beyond. You will:
-
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Oversee implementation of ABA-based strategies across classroom and school settings
- Provide direct behavioral support, consultation, and coaching to teachers and paraprofessionals
- Collect, analyze, and use behavioral data to drive decision-making and measure outcomes
- Collaborate with the IEP team to ensure behavioral goals are meaningful, measurable, and integrated into each student's plan
- Support crisis prevention and intervention in alignment with the school's PBIS framework
- Train and supervise RBTs and behavioral support staff as applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation including FBAs, BIPs, progress notes, and data summaries
- Partner with families to extend behavioral strategies to the home environment
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-wide PBIS initiatives
