Operations and Credit Analyst
Pernod Ricard Portugal is hiring an Operations & Credit Analyst for the Operations department, located in Lisbon.
This person plays a key role in supporting financial and operational performance through cash flow management, credit risk control, cost optimization, and fleet operations coordination, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Customer Receipts Monitoring: Develop and implement robust forecasting models to predict incoming payments from customers. Ensure precise tracking mechanisms are in place to identify deviations promptly, facilitating proactive resolution and maintaining cash flow stability.
Credit Management: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of customer credit limits and insurance policies. Implement risk mitigation strategies by releasing orders in strict adherence to internal guidelines and risk policies, ensuring optimal credit exposure management.
Audit Support: Collaborate with audit teams to furnish requisite data, documentation, and analytical insights. Guarantee full compliance with audit standards by maintaining meticulous records and facilitating seamless audit processes.
Customer Deductions & Accruals Management: Spearhead investigations into customer debit notes within the SIAC system. Ensure timely recognition of accruals and conduct thorough reconciliations to uphold financial accuracy and integrity.
Supplier Management: Oversee supplier sourcing and registration processes. Utilize Partner Up registration outcomes to assess supplier performance annually, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enhancing supplier relationships.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Partner with the Operations Manager to craft and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Focus on optimizing costs and enhancing efficiencies in areas such as car fleet management and distribution operations.
Fleet Management Oversight: Serve as the liaison between Pernod Ricard and the renting vendor, ensuring effective management of the company's fleet. Oversee maintenance schedules and fuel management to optimize fleet performance and cost-effectiveness.
Profile:
Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, credit management, or operations processes within a corporate environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Proactive and adaptable to changing business needs
