The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an IT Business Analyst - SAP OTC Order Management, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around
the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Support the design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement of Order Management processes within the Order-to-Cash function, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Operations and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze end-to-end business processes, and translate needs into functional specifications, user stories, process designs, and test scenarios.
Analyze Order Management issues and enhancement requests, evaluate solution options, and provide recommendations for system configuration, process improvements, and defect resolution.
Partner with external consultants, vendors, and internal technical teams to support integrations, testing activities, data validation, and deployment of Order Management solutions.
Support compliance and governance requirements through testing, documentation, audit support, risk mitigation activities, user training, and change management initiatives.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field AND seven (7) years of experience in a business analyst, functional analyst, SAP consulting, or related information technology role.
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Five (5) or more years of hands-on SAP Order-to-Cash and Order Management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Experience supporting end-to-end SAP Order Management processes, including customer master data, sales order creation and maintenance, product availability, and outputs.
Experience with EDI and non-EDI order integrations.
Experience analyzing production issues and enhancement requests, performing root cause analysis, and recommending system configuration, process improvements, or defect resolution.
Experience preparing functional specifications, process flows, user stories, test scripts, and business validation documentation for SAP enhancements or ERP transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and written and verbal communication skills.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Order Management capabilities.
Experience supporting global ERP deployments, integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect management, and post-go-live stabilization.
Knowledge of SAP integration points across pricing, delivery, transportation, and related processes upstream and downstream of order management.
SAP certification in S/4HANA Sales or a related discipline.
