We leverage cutting-edge technology to ensure our traders experience seamless and efficient trading.  ThinkMarkets is seeking a Payments & Reconciliations Analyst to join our growing team in Dubai. This role combines payment operations with financial reconciliation responsibilities, supporting the day-to-day processing of client funding while ensuring the accurate reconciliation of payment providers, banks, and internal systems. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Compliance, Customer Support, and Payment Service Providers to ensure the smooth operation of our global payment infrastructure.   Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Process client deposits and withdrawals accurately and within agreed SLAs. </li> <li>Investigate and resolve client funding queries, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal teams and payment providers. </li> <li>Liaise with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) by supplying transaction details, error messages, customer screenshots, and other supporting information to facilitate investigations. </li> <li>Perform daily, weekly, and monthly payment reconciliations across PSPs, banks, and internal systems, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. </li> <li>Carry out daily accounting reconciliations for each PSP and bank, ensuring all transactions and related fees are accounted for accurately agreeing balances to statement balances, settlements and rolling reserves. </li> <li>Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on payment operations, reconciliations, transaction volumes, and performance metrics for management. </li> <li>Work closely with Finance, Compliance, Customer Support, and other internal teams to investigate and resolve payment-related issues. </li> <li>Escalate complex payment cases to senior management where appropriate. </li> <li>Meet and exceed KPIs and SLAs while maintaining high accuracy and service standards. </li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve payment processes, controls, and operational efficiency. </li> <li>Contribute to departmental and group initiatives while adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. </li> <li>Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and ensure a consistently high level of service across all client channels. </li> </ul> Requirements:  <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years' experience in a Payments Analyst, Payments Operations, or similar role within the financial services industry. Experience in Forex or CFD brokerage is highly preferred.  </li> <li>Experience in reconciliations and accounting will be an advantage. </li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. </li> <li>Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. </li> <li>Experience performing payment reconciliations and preparing operational reports. </li> <li>Strong understanding of payment operations, banking processes, and PSP workflows. Experience with PSP back-office systems is preferred. </li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite. </li> <li>Experience with SUN systems, SAGE intacct, or similar accounting software. </li> <li>Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills. </li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams. </li> <li>Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities. </li> <li>A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset. </li> <li>Comfortable working rotating night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. </li> <li>Highly reliable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering excellent client service. </li> </ul>
