This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and innovative investments within one of the largest private capital market investors, while helping shape a rapidly growing private credit secondaries strategy. You'll benefit from a strong foundation of formal and on-the-job training, broad exposure to private credit asset classes, and direct mentorship from senior investment professionals. At the same time, you'll be part of a collaborative, high-impact team and a global analyst community that supports accelerated learning, professional growth, and work-life balance.
This is a hybrid role based in New York City, where the team is on-site 3 times a week.
What you can expect
- Supporting all aspects of the investment process, from sourcing, due diligence, to the execution of private credit secondaries transactions, including the acquisition of LP interests, GP-leds, and structured transactions
- Preparing detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses and investment memoranda within tight time constraints
- Extensive credit analysis and financial modeling of underlying borrowers and funds across several private credit asset classes, including direct lending, mezzanine, opportunistic credit, and infrastructure
- Actively monitoring existing investments, including regular interaction with managers of underlying investments and valuation updates
- Working with the broader team on deal sourcing, fundraising efforts, and other strategic initiatives
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in private credit, direct lending, mezzanine investing, credit secondaries, or equity secondaries.
- Strong underwriting and financial modeling experience, including transaction analysis and due diligence.
- Familiarity with private credit fund structures and/or secondary investment transactions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with exceptional attention to detail.
What will set you apart
