The Team

We’re seeking an Analyst to join American Tower’s Product and Strategy team. The organization manages the performance, market positioning, and competitive analyses for the company’s U.S. Tower division’s products and manages and executes strategic, large-scale acquisitions and various other initiatives. In this role, you will assist with identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives aligned with the company's overall business objectives. At times the Analyst will also support non-core initiatives related to corporate strategy, acquisitions, divestments, strategic partnerships, and other special projects.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Support the assessment and execution of potential acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and other development opportunities.
  • Perform modeling, scenario analyses, and valuations for various opportunities across the digital infrastructure landscape.
  • Partner with internal Finance department teams to develop and validate key model parameters, assumptions, and drivers.
  • Research different markets and industry trends using public and private data sources.
  • Support and coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts with internal diligence teams, corporate functional teams, and external advisors.
  • Utilize project management methodologies, including supporting tools and processes, to ensure pipeline tracking, diligence, closing, and integration.
  • Manage dashboards, provide reports, and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate performance against expectations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Company’s business units, markets, and strategic priorities.
  • Perform other ad-hoc analyses and projects as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years financial analysis, project management, or related experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively influence decision-making during key negotiations.
  • Experience managing and enhancing business processes in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to both communicate to the team project and status updates and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive, high-volume environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to present ideas and information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
