Mayvin is seeking an experienced Post Tracking Support Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Protective Service.  This position will provide analytical, operation, and technical support for the DHS FPS Post Tracking System. This position is mission critical and will support the Government through project coordination, preparing reports and presentations as well as data analysis and assisting the Government with special projects.  The right candidate will be highly organized, an excellent communicator and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support liaison activities with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve programming issues, nuisance alarms, and physical security system concern
  • Review and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and standards related to physical security systems
  • Develop and maintain procedures supporting the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of data within the PTS
  • Conduct in-depth reviews of regionally supplied data to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance
  • Coordinate data integrity reviews and prepare status reporting presentations
  • Coordinate O&M efforts with the Information Technology Division (ITD) and PTS contractor
  • Provide guidance on the implementation, setup, and configuration of PTS Onsite Handheld Devices (OHDs)
  • Develop written guidance, training materials, and implementation documentation for PTS OHDs and Microsoft Intun
  • Statistical reporting and trend analysis using Post Tracking System data
  • Help Desk issue tracking, monitor ServiceNow trends, and coordinate responses with Headquarters and regional personnel
  • Validate information contained within PTS and develop data-driven reports utilizing system reporting functions
  • Gather and document requirements for Post Order Templates within PTS
  • Assist in preparing law enforcement and protective security information briefings for stakeholders
  • Prepare reports, executive briefings, presentations, and other project documentation supporting program objectives
