<p><strong>Lead the future of insurance operations transformation across Hong Kong and APAC</strong></p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>Capco is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to join our Hong Kong Insurance practice, leading complex transformation engagements across Operations, Underwriting, and Claims for Life, Health, and General Insurance clients.</p>
<p>This is a high-impact client-facing role focused on helping insurers modernise operating models, optimise customer and claims journeys, embed digital and AI-enabled capabilities, and deliver measurable business value. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders while leading multidisciplinary teams across strategic transformation programmes.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead end-to-end insurance operations, underwriting, and claims transformation engagements across Hong Kong and APAC markets</li>
<li>Design and implement target operating models, process optimisation initiatives, and AI-enabled operational improvements across Life, Health, and General Insurance</li>
<li>Advise senior client stakeholders including COO, CUO, Head of Claims, and Operations leaders on transformation strategy and execution</li>
<li>Lead cross-functional programme delivery teams spanning consulting, technology, operations, data, and vendor partners</li>
<li>Contribute to business development, proposition development, thought leadership, and mentoring across the Insurance practice</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>9–12 years of experience across consulting and insurance operations, underwriting, or claims transformation within Life, Health, or General Insurance</li>
<li>Strong expertise in underwriting frameworks, claims operations, process optimisation, and insurance operating model transformation</li>
<li>Experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes involving core insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, LifeAsia, or PolicyAsia</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder management, programme leadership, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives in regulated environments</li>
<li>Professional fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus Points For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with AI, intelligent automation, workflow tooling, or GenAI-enabled use cases within underwriting or claims operations</li>
<li>Knowledge of Hong Kong Insurance Authority regulations including HKRBC, GL21, GL36, IFRS 17, and PDPO</li>
<li>Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, ANZIIF, CII, FLMI, ACS, or AIC</li>
<li>Experience contributing to proposals, RFP responses, and insurance consulting business development initiatives</li>
<li>Postgraduate qualifications such as MBA, MSc, Actuarial, or related disciplines</li>
