The Technology &amp; Data Strategy (T&amp;DS) is responsible for building, maintaining, enhancing, and analyzing systems and data applications, as well as creating visualization that provides valuable information. The team’s mission is to provide practical and relevant insights from data, that supports strategic and informed decisions.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&#39;Times New Roman&#39;, serif"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif">The Principal Data Engineer designs, develops, modifies, configures, debugs and evaluates solutions for extracting data from various sources, implements transformation logic, and stores data in various formats fit for use by the resource planning and strategy team. Collects metadata about jobs/sources including data lineage and transformation logic to create data models and ensure data is accessible to the team. Works with IT teams, data owners, functional area leads and leadership throughout the development cycle practicing continuous improvement. The data engineer identifies and solves current gaps in data requirements and creates ease of access to ensure fast and consistent responses to leadership inquiries.</span></p> <p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:12.0pt;font-family:&#39;Times New Roman&#39;, serif"> </p> <p style="margin:0.0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif">This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business needs or company requirements. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above.
