This role can be performed remotely from anywhere within Europe.

Principal Logistics Analyst is responsible for handling the inbound freight needs of products for all of the company's U.S. and international distribution centers, external customers and processors. Handles other freight needs. Strives to minimize overall supply chain costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply. Assists with providing support for inventory management and performance improvement projects. Serves as liaison between central and regional teams, coordinates demand signals and availability among distribution network tiers, including vendors, consolidation warehouses and distribution centers.

  • Supports and / or leads Supply Chain Logistics-related special projects, item launch activities and ongoing operations.
  • Works across locations and with third-party suppliers and distribution companies to minimize overall costs without compromising quality or reliability of supply.
  • Identifies, evaluates and capitalizes on opportunities to reduce costs by improving buying patterns and supply channels.
  • Assists with the development of new reporting tools for use by global and regional buying teams to support purchasing, operational and supply-related decision-making.
  • Monitors global Supply Chain Logistics practices and identifies areas of risk, potential synergies, efficiency improvements and other productivity / cost savings.
    • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Logistics Analysis.
    • Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
