Job Description

The Principal Sales Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Sales for the EMEA Agile Sales Team. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of key sales priorities, driving operational alignment, and leading strategic initiatives that enable the sales organization to achieve its performance goals.

Working closely with Sales Leadership and cross-functional partners, this individual will help translate sales strategy into actionable plans, track progress against key initiatives, and ensure consistent communication and alignment across the organization. This is a senior individual contributor role that operates as an extension of the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Sales to support development and execution of sales strategies and business priorities.
  • Translate leadership priorities into actionable initiatives, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
  • Track progress against key sales initiatives and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Support the sales leadership team in monitoring business performance, including pipeline health, forecasting trends, and key sales metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and sales productivity.
  • Assist in planning cycles including quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and sales performance reviews.
  • Partner with Finance, HR, Sales Operations, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support organizational initiatives and operational needs.
  • Help coordinate initiatives related to territory planning, organizational design, and sales process improvements.
  • Prepare materials and analysis to support leadership meetings, executive reviews, and business updates.
  • Facilitate follow-up and accountability on key action items and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure clear communication of priorities and updates across the sales leadership team.
  • Lead or support high-priority projects on behalf of the Head of Sales.
  • Coordinate project plans, timelines, and stakeholder engagement to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Management, Business Operations, or related roles within a technology or software organization.
  • Experience supporting senior sales leadership and working in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
