In Liberia, Costa Rica we have our newest and most advanced manufacturing facility in the world that is leading the way for Industry 4.0. This plant is utilizing state of the art manufacturing technology to improve how our employees work and how we produce our products. We are looking a Process Quality Analyst responsible to support the effective implementation of control systems and quality assurance program to maintain a high level of performance and ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, rules and practices of the company and local regulatory entities. Supports the compliance of good manufacturing practices in the plant.  Performs specific functions related to the measurement of the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions, recommendations of compliance assessments and validations of process and equipment. Supports the correct documentation of the management information system and process/equipment validations required by Quality and the Manufacturing Center. The products produced in this plant will reach hundreds of millions of consumers across the world. What you’ll do for us

  • Cooperates to decrease process risks or opportunities, by ensure support of risk assessment evaluation.

  • Promotes GMP (good manufacturing practices) best practices and measure effectiveness of the practices.

  • Produces appropriate documentation to support the Integrated Management System and record the data related to Validation Process.

  • Performs specific tasks for validation of process and equipment to assure the compliance of GMP, food safety and quality requirements.

  • Supports troubleshooting situations.

  • Supports the integrated management system programs (internal audits, document management, continual improvement, control of changes) perform as defined

  • Identifies safety, food safety, environmental and quality risks and/or opportunities, and apply problem solving tools to ensure conformance and continuous improvement of processes.

  • Supports any Packaging Value Creation Project in Costa Rica.

  • Supports any troubleshooting regarding packaging issue

  • Ensures adequate monitoring and coordination of routine tasks related to the control of the process to ensure the proper execution of the department's activities and other functional areas of the Manufacturing Center.

  • Supports the coordination of training / certifications of the associates. Performs specific functions related to the sustainability of Operational Excellence in the scope of the Service provided by the Quality area.

  • Supports plant integrated management system external and internal audit.

  • Comply with the guidelines of Food Safety, Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Energy Efficiency, Occupational Health and Safety), KORE Corporate Standards and any other applicable legal requirements, established or subscribed by the Company, related to your job, complying with the policies, internal plans and procedures that ensure the proper implementation and continuous improvement of the company.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • University/Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Food Science or equivalent in related industry.

  • 2+ years of previous experience in food industry or equivalent of 1 year related to the quality department is desirable.

  • Computer knowledge (SAP, Office, Minitab. MS Project)

  • Nice to have general Knowledge of Quality Tools (problem solving, Pareto analysis, etc.)

  • General knowledge of statistics (parametric and non-parametric methods, group comparison.)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Intermediate English.
