Job Description
As a Product Analyst in GPP (Growth, Product, & Partnerships) you would direct a product strategy from product conception and definition through implementation. Identifies new business and market opportunities and creates appropriate business plans. Responsibilities may include determining the market for the product, determining the requirements of the marketplace for the product, and providing for the consistency of the new product with the organization's image and objectives. Functions as a central resource that interacts with systems, marketing, and sales in the product development stage. Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market focus, leading commercialization framework, sales and implementation assets, partnership engagement models, and support for regional teams.
- Partner / Client Implementation assets, standards, process design, and execution.
- Direct product strategy from conception through implementation.
- Identify new business and market opportunities; create business plans.
- Determine market requirements and ensure product consistency with organizational objectives.
- Serve as a central resource interacting with systems, marketing, and sales during product development.
- Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost and profit control.
- Promote adoption of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. This team sits in bay area - that location is firm.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in product strategy development and implementation.
- Experience in identifying business and market opportunities.
- Experience in creating business plans for new products.
- Experience in determining market requirements for products.
- Experience in ensuring product alignment with organizational objectives.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration with systems, marketing, and sales.
- Experience in formulating long-term cost and profit control plans.
- Experience in promoting new technologies and industry trends.
- Experience in product leadership roles within financial services, preferably in money movement, payments, or related domains.
- Experience with money movement products and technologies, including B2B connect, Visa Direct, and Currency Cloud.
- Experience in risk and compliance practices within financial services.
- Experience in analytical and problem-solving for process improvements.
