This role will serve as the analytical backbone of the Core Products organization, supporting Debit, Credit Acceleration, Next Gen Banking, and overall portfolio management across Latin America and the Caribbean. The analyst will provide advanced analytics, portfolio reporting, business performance insights, forecasting, and operational support to improve decision making, drive efficiencies, and accelerate execution against strategic priorities. The role will partner closely with Product, Finance, Analytics, Client Services, and market teams to enhance portfolio visibility and business performance.
Primary Focus:
Provide portfolio analytics, performance management, forecasting, business intelligence, and reporting support to improve decision making and accelerate execution across the Core Products portfolio.
All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop / Update portfolio performance reporting, dashboards, and executive scorecards.
- Manage and enhance OpCert, financial, and portfolio reporting processes.
- Track key business KPIs and portfolio health metrics.
- Support forecasting, opportunity sizing, and business case development.
- Conduct portfolio analytics and performance assessments across Debit, Credit, and Next Gen Banking.
- Analyze data to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Support MBRs, QBRs, executive presentations, and leadership reviews.
- Develop automated reporting solutions and improve reporting efficiency.
- Gather and synthesize market intelligence, competitive insights, and consumer trends.
- Support strategic initiatives through analytics, tracking, and performance measurement.
- Partner with Finance, Strategy, Data Science, and market teams to improve visibility and decision making.
- Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities to simplify processes across the portfolio.
- Support governance and performance tracking of key regional priorities.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, product management, finance, consulting, or business operations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience working with large data sets.
- Experience developing executive presentations, reporting, and business cases.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar analytics tools.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, or consumer banking preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
