Job Summary
The Product Analyst supports Duke Energy Florida’s Demand Response portfolio by helping convert known operational pain points, data gaps, and manual workarounds into organized trackers, clearer workflows, and measurable execution improvements. Reporting directly to the manager, this role supports issue resolution, process cleanup, reporting, action tracking, and follow-through on assigned priorities, with financial tracking as a supporting responsibility. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data and business systems, and able to help improve existing workflows by reducing manual errors, rework, and follow-up gaps.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize already identified operational choke points into draft project plans, including proposed owners, deadlines, status updates, and follow-up actions, for review and collaborative refinement with the manager and appropriate team members.
- Help organize historical artifacts such as vendor invoices, regulatory data requests, contractor purchase orders, invoices, and related program documents into a shared repository with clear naming, ownership, and retrieval structure.
- Support improvements to existing tools and workflows by documenting current pain points, tracking enhancement requests, coordinating follow-up with users and system owners, and helping validate updates related to IntelliSOURCE, customer contact and scheduling tools, Salesforce pipeline visibility, DR calendar enhancements, and related reporting needs.
- Track and organize information related to existing assets, planned inspections, replacements, upgrades, retirements, inventory readiness, equipment lifecycle needs, and supply chain ordering requirements to support review and follow-up by the manager, field coordinators, and appropriate team members.
- Support rates, regulatory, IRP, new program development, technology initiatives, white papers, and business case work by gathering data, tracking requests, documenting assumptions, and summarizing results for review.
- Track estimated O&M savings, recovered value, avoided cost, RMA activity, warranty returns, refunds, vendor credits, budget impacts, projections, true-ups, and marketing cost-per-acquisition analysis.
Key Deliverables:
- Operational issue tracker showing priorities, owners, deadlines, status, barriers, and completed actions.
- Contractor comparison tracker covering pricing, work quality, responsiveness, completion performance, and supporting notes for vendor discussions.
- Continuous improvement tracker for existing system upgrades, scheduling/customer contact tools, Salesforce pipeline cleanup, DR calendar enhancements, and related reporting needs.
- Commercial asset inspection tracking, replacement, and equipment lifecycle calendar tied to field coordinator assignments, work management follow-up, inventory readiness, and supply chain ordering.
- Savings, recovery, budget, projection, and true-up tracker documenting assumptions, estimated value, responsible parties, open questions, and follow-up actions.
- RMA, warranty, and inventory closeout log tracking device movement, returned equipment, replacement status, vendor credits, refunds, aging items, and unresolved exceptions.
- Update recurring dashboard or status summary showing completed work, open issues, estimated savings, recovered value, risks, and next actions
