Product Data Coordinator
Job Description:
Job Summary: The Product Data Coordinator is primarily responsible for consolidating and maintaining accurate product data across systems by gathering, validating, and uploading information from multiple internal sources. The ideal candidate thrives in data-intensive environments, is comfortable working with large datasets, and demonstrates strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, persistence, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the execution of a Product Information Management (PIM) project by compiling and uploading product data into centralized systems.
- Performs high-volume data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness of product details, specifications, images, and related assets.
- Extracts and validates data from systems such as documentation control and other internal databases.
- Utilizes Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) to organize, analyze, and maintain large datasets.
- Collaborates with Product Managers and other stakeholders to locate and gather required product information.
- Proactively reaches out to cross-functional teams to obtain missing or unclear data and ensure alignment on information accuracy.
- Consolidates data from multiple sources into a single standardized format for system upload.
- Maintains data integrity by identifying inconsistencies and resolving discrepancies.
- Assists with administrative and project-related tasks to support overall marketing operations as needed.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or related roles required.
- Experience working with large datasets and databases required.
- Experience with product information systems or regulated document systems (e.g., Master Control) preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling required.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively gather information from cross-functional teams required.
- Highly resourceful and comfortable reaching out to stakeholders to obtain needed information required.
- Ability to organize and synthesize data from multiple, sometimes inconsistent sources required.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, project-based environment is required.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools required.
Target Market Salary Range:
Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
