Job Summary:

The Lead Product Launch Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Operations Product Launch Manager in the global change management processes. Including new product launches and product discontinuations. This role will be part of the Global Supply Chain team liaising with key operations stakeholders taking a lead in the New Product Launch Process and is a fixed-term contract role. 

The role requires oversight of cross-functional teams and sites who provide input to the change management processes with a focus on developing metrics and communications to support continual improvement. The supporting work will include data analysis, project management and process improvements. Providing justification and recommendations to drive efficiencies in the processes. Working within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) to manage change management processes, provide guidance/training and define best practices.

 

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

Reporting and Data Analysis 

  • Regularly provides status and updates to management regarding status of New Product Launch Process.
  • Compile and submit regular monitoring reports covering key performance indicators to ensure product launch progress.
  • Provide input and insight to global supply chain performance and business management processes. 
  • Monitor change management activity, compliance with operating procedures and quality standards to ensure that regulatory requirements are adhered to.

     

    Project Management

  • Acts as the product launch representative and participates with cross functional teams on projects.
  • Leads priority customer launches, coordinating operations activities to achieve customer timelines.
  • Communicates information effectively to and from other departments with the product launch teams.
  • Provides project management support to the Global Supply Chain Management group.
  • Independently leads cross-functional projects in support of improvement initiatives in supply chain.

     

    Process Improvement and Root Cause Investigation

  • Work with the Operations organizations to ensure the on-time execution of all work related to launches.
  • Assists with the planning and coordination of launch activities between the sites and systems in the supply chain.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the global change management processes.
  • In the event of a product launch issue, establish the cause and ensure a prompt and effective response

     

Training and Support

  • Provides product launch training and process support for employees globally. 
  • Providing site support. Leads meetings to assist operations, influence teams toward improvement.
  • Under direction of the Operations Product Launch Manager, creates and reviews opportunities to document processes for consistency in the Global Supply Chain.
  • Performs other assignments related to the department as directed by leadership.
  • Adheres to corporate procedures, policies, documentation requirements and recommends/develops continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Shares experience and knowledge to drive collective Global Supply Chain capability.

 

Travel: 

  • International travel – 10%

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with change management required
  • Experience in a regulated industry (medical device or other)
  • Previous Leadership skills
  • Experience in a global role (dealing with organizations around the world)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.

     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Well organized, highly self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible and willing to accept new ideas, processes and procedures
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience with Agile preferred.
  • Possesses skills to utilize the concept of continuous improvement, change management and employee teams.  Ability to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Demonstrates poise under pressure, able to deal with tense or high-pressure situations with even temperament and in a professional manner.

 

Work Environment:

  • Normal office environment
  • Ability to perform light to medium physical work and standing for long periods of time, if required depending on the task

 

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $71,285.00 and $95,046.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.  The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future.  This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
