Job Description:
A Business Intelligence Analyst partners with business and technology teams to design, develop, and deliver modern reporting and analytics solutions. This role combines business intelligence, data engineering, visualization, and automation to transform enterprise data into actionable insights. Working across multiple business functions and leadership levels, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, integrating and modeling data, developing scalable dashboards and reports, and identifying opportunities to improve operational performance through analytics. This role also leverages modern BI platforms and AI-assisted capabilities to deliver overall business value while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and enhance operational and executive dashboards using Tableau, Looker, SSRS, Excel, and other business intelligence platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and reporting datasets using SQL, Python, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), and SQL Server to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Build and maintain reusable data models, data transformations, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting datasets that support enterprise reporting and self-serve analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Develop automated reporting processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through SQL, Python, and BI platform automation.
- Design intuitive dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate operational performance, trends, and business opportunities.
- Leverage automation, Generative AI, and AI-assisted capabilities within Business Intelligence platforms to streamline dashboard development, enhance reporting efficiency, improve documentation, and accelerate business insight generation.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data through rigorous validation, testing, and data quality best practices.
- Perform ad hoc analyses using multiple enterprise data sources to provide actionable recommendations and business insights.
- Research, analyze, and interpret business processes to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Build and maintain relationships with business users to ensure high adoption and buy-in of delivered reporting solutions.
Job Qualifications:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience developing robust Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions.
- Data Integration: Proven experience integrating and transforming data from multiple enterprise systems.
- Dashboard Design: Strong experience designing enterprise-grade dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
- BI Tool Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in modern BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating data.
- Experience developing analytics and automation solutions using Python.
- Plusses & Preferences:
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics capabilities, natural language query experiences, or AI-assisted dashboard development is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is preferred.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Salesforce, and CRM analytics is a plus.
Annual Pay Range:
67,000 - 90,480 USDApplication Window:
