By joining JRC, youโ€™ll be part of a team that supports strategic deterrence and defense missions, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the United States and its allies.</span></p> <p></p></div><div>๐Ÿš€<strong>Join JRC's Missles &amp; Space Team!</strong></div> <div> <p>The Analyst II โ€“ Technical Writer/Editor will provide on-site support to the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Nuclear-Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) Program. This position is responsible for developing, editing, formatting, and managing technical documentation in accordance with established Department of the Navy directives, standards, and guidance.</p> </div> <p>๐Ÿ’ผ<strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Edit and format technical documents using established Microsoft Word templates and style standards.</li> <li>Create, revise, and maintain Ordnance Documents (ODs), Strategic Systems Programs Instructions (SSPINSTs), meeting minutes, memoranda, formal correspondence, and other program documentation.</li> <li>Develop and maintain action item tracking spreadsheets and master comment resolution matrices using Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>Coordinate technical document reviews and incorporate stakeholder comments into final products.</li> <li>Ensure documentation complies with Department of the Navy policies, directives, and formatting requirements.</li> <li>Support documentation process improvements and configuration management activities, as required.</li> </ul> <p>๐Ÿง <strong>What You Bring to the Table</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, English, Communications, or a related field;&nbsp;<strong>or</strong>&nbsp;a minimum of five (5) years of military experience in a technical field.</li> <li>Three (3) to five (5) years of experience supporting one or more engineering disciplines (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering, or related technical fields).</li> <li>Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat or Foxit PhantomPDF and MS Teams.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Active Secret DoD security clearance.</li> </ul> <p>โญ<strong>Bonus Points</strong></p> <ul> <li>Three (3) or more years of Department of the Navy technical writing experience supporting engineering or acquisition programs.</li> <li>Familiarity with Department of the Navy security policies, documentation standards, and administrative procedures.</li> <li>Experience supporting Navy acquisition, strategic weapons, or defense systems programs is highly desirable.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p></p> <p><strong><em>At JRC we offer...</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>A competitive compensation package</li> <li>An exceptional employee benefits program, providing support for our team members' well-being and success</li> <li>The chance to contribute to a high-profile Department of Defense programs and make a positive impact</li> <li>A collaborative work environment where teamwork, creativity, and innovation thrive</li> <li>Opportunities for professional growth and development, helping you advance your career</li> </ul> <p></p></div>
