Programme Analyst
Salary: Circa £32,000
Location(s): Flexible across Anglian Water region
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time (With flexibility for part-time)
Are you passionate about using data and insight to drive successful programme delivery?
We're looking for a Programme Analyst to join our Water Services team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Optimisation programme.
As a Programme Analyst, you'll work with a wide range of stakeholders to provide valuable analysis, reporting, planning, and risk management support. You'll help ensure programme performance is visible, activities stay on track, and informed decisions can be made using accurate and timely data.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience supporting large programmes or projects within a complex operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and maintain programme dashboards, trackers, and performance reports to support effective decision-making.
Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support programme planning and governance activities, helping to manage timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
Track programme risks, opportunities, dependencies, and mitigation actions, ensuring visibility across stakeholders.
Coordinate communication and information sharing between internal teams, contractors, and programme partners.
Prepare meeting materials, maintain action logs, and ensure programme documentation is accurate and up to date.
Identify opportunities to improve programme efficiency, reporting processes, and planning tools.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned are captured and applied.
Essential Criteria
Experience supporting large programmes or projects.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Understanding of project scheduling and risk management principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
Ability to analyse complex information and communicate findings clearly.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience working within regulated or operational environments.
Desirable Criteria
Degree or equivalent qualification in programme/project management, business, data, or engineering.
Familiarity with programme dashboards and visual reporting techniques.
Knowledge of the water industry or other regulated sectors.
Experience presenting and visualising data for a variety of audiences
