Job Description:

Project Analyst

Abu Dhabi, UAE
 

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Analyst to join our team! In this role you will support project performance reporting and cost control through accurate trackers, variance analysis, and clear reporting to project leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Prepare weekly project status reports for senior management, including progress vs schedule, milestones, achievements, and key issues.

  • Maintain KPI dashboards and trackers (e.g., revenue, unbilled, cashflow, earned value, and invoicing plan).

  • Perform spent-hours tracking and comparison/variance analysis.

  • Monitor project costs against budget and analyze Budget vs Actual performance.

  • Track committed costs, incurred costs, remaining budget, and subcontractor/supplier expenditures.

  • Identify cost variances, recommend corrective actions, and support lookahead/action tracking.

  • Support budget alignment activities including contingency tracking, budget revisions, and change management inputs.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in reporting/cost/financial analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and report development and analysis.

  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.

What Desired Skills you will be bring:

  • Experience in Power BI dashboard and reporting.

  • Experience with earned value concepts and project & cost control reporting.

  • Familiarity with ERP/cost systems and invoicing/revenue tracking processes.

  • Advanced Excel capability (dashboards, pivots, Power Query, complex formulas).

  • Experience supporting multi-project reporting and standardizing trackers/templates.
