Project Controls Analyst
Position Summary:
The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for the financial tracking and reporting of a designated project from startup through completion. Responsibilities include supporting monthly billing, forecasting labor and material costs, monitoring project budgets and contract value, tracking productivity and project costs, and preparing work-in-progress (WIP) reports. The Project Controls Analyst collaborates with project management, field supervision, accounting, and executive leadership to provide accurate financial data and support the successful execution of the project.
This role is based in Minooka, IL, but occasional travel to our Oak Brook office may be required.
What You'll Do:
- Perform monthly forecasts for external parties
- Collaborate with various members of the project team to gather and update cost information monthly.
- Support monthly GMP Billing
- Monitor and maintain project budgets and contract value
- Forecast and report project cost at completion
- Deliver monthly work-in-progress (WIP) report to the project executive team.
- Monitor and track project costs
- Analyze and continuously monitor resource curves to assist the Field and Project Management team.
What You'll Need for Success:
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or project accounting
- Familiarity with construction accounting and AIA billing
- Experience with project forecasting and cost-at-completion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with GMP projects
