Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director – Data Center to join our team!

The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the delivery of Design Review, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), and Construction Supervision services for Data Center projects. The role acts as the Client’s senior technical and managerial representative, ensuring governance, compliance, quality, and performance across all project phases.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide strategic leadership for PMC and Construction Supervision services from design through construction and handover.

  • Act as the primary senior interface with the Client, authorities, designers, contractors, and key stakeholders.

  • Oversee multi-disciplinary design review processes, ensuring compliance with data center standards, project requirements, and authority regulations.

  • Ensure effective implementation of project governance, reporting, and decision-making frameworks.

  • Lead risk management, constructability reviews, and technical assurance across design and construction phases.

  • Oversee site supervision activities to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Provide oversight on cost, schedule, change management, and claims avoidance.

  • Ensure HSE, quality, and compliance obligations are fully met throughout construction.

  • Lead and mentor the Project Manager and Technical Leads.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline).

  • Minimum 20+ years experience in PMC / construction supervision roles for large-scale or mission-critical projects.

  • Proven experience on data center or mission-critical facilities within the UAE or GCC.

  • Strong leadership, governance, and client-facing experience.

  • Based primarily in UAE with short-term GCC travel as required.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Deep technical knowledge in structural, architectural, and MEP coordination.

  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams under fast-track conditions.

  • Proficiency in report writing and project documentation.

  • Fluency in English required, Arabic is an advantage.
