Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.</p> <p> </p> <p>Key Responsibilities:<br>    • Lead VWI Process Improvement Projects: Develop and execute process improvement projects across CVN, leveraging expertise in lean principles, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.<br>    • Performance Metrics and KPI Analysis: Gather, analyze, and present data on key performance metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and optimize operations.<br>    • Value Stream Level Conversations: Facilitate collaborative discussions with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement, align processes, and implement changes that enhance the overall value stream.<br>    • Senior Leadership Representation: Attend and present in senior leadership meetings on behalf of E92, providing updates on project progress, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.<br>    • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to:<br>        ○ Developing and maintaining project plans (POAMs), schedules, and budgets (cost analysis)<br>        ○ Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet expectations<br>        ○ Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies<br>        ○ Collaborating with team members to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Must Have</b></H2> </div><div><p>Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 8 year of relevant professional experience</p> <p>One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>NNS Apprentice School graduate </li> <li>Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate</li> <li>Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience</li> <li>Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience </li> <li>High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience</li> <li>High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Nice to Have</b></H2> </div><div><p>    ○ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis and interpretation<br>        ○ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels<br>        ○ Proven ability to lead and facilitate collaborative teams, with strong stakeholder management skills<br>        ○ Strong knowledge of lean principles, process improvement methodologies, and project management best practices<br>        ○ Proficiency in MS Office, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint<br> </p></div></div></div><p><strong>Why HII</strong><br>We build the world’s most powerful, survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas, sky, land, space and cyber.
