- Policies, Guidelines and Protocols: Develop and deliver project contract guidelines and protocols to ensure Ferrovial complies with regulations and best practices.
- Bidding Advice: Assist in providing specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving routine queries and issues, and escalating very complex or contentious issues to senior management
- Contract Management: Manage contract change control processes, evaluating change requests, negotiating modified terms and ensuring proper documentation and approval as required. Track contract performance, prepare progress reports and regularly communicate contract status to internal and external stakeholders
- Bid Solicitation, Request for Proporsal & Tender Analysis: Analyze incoming documents and evaluate complex elements of bids or requests for proposal or tenders to support the tender evaluation process, liaising with other areas of Ferrovial with particular attention to comply with the terms set by the Client and Ferrovial, with the duty to ensure Ferrovial's submission in accordance with the same, in a timely manner.
- Insights and Reporting: Develop and deliver detailed insights and reports on bidding activities, performance, and outcomes. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Construction Project Negotiation: Develop strong relationships with potential clients and assist in the negotiation by providing information and advice to negotiators on terms and conditions of contracts as well as on negotiating tacticts and strategy.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage detailed budgets for individual bidding projects, monitoring expenditures and ensuring adherence to approved budgets. Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
- Operational Compliance: Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of Ferrovial's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. Identify, within the team, patterns of non-compliance with Ferrovial's policies and procedures, as well as report and prevent practices that impair the provision of services by the contract team.
- Relationship Management: Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
- Performance Management: Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using Ferrovial's performance management systems to improve personal performance. Set appropriate performance objectives for team members and hold them accountable for achieving these.
- Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Capability Building: Use Ferrovial's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout Ferrovial in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Leadership and Direction: Communicate the local action plan connected with Ferrovial's broader mission and vision; develop the shared vision that we are the sum of many businesses that have come together to achieve excellence and motivate people to achieve local business objectives.
