Kleinfelder's Environmental team is looking for you! From environmental planning, permitting, remediation, and site characterization to chemical data management and hydrogeology, Kleinfelder offers a variety of services designed to provide technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.
The Kleinfelder Power Market team is looking for a flex time, remote candidate to bring senior level environmental permitting, project management and leadership for agency process requirements and assessment/feasibility studies for renewable development projects, transmission line development and generation source development covering from inception to in-service. The selected candidate will join our delivery management professionals who are involved in project delivery from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closeout. Each phase requires strong attention to detail while communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Documentation control for regulatory requirements is a key element in this position as well. Our team is growing rapidly with exciting new projects across the Central and Western US.
Experience in environmental management across the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Your expertise needs to include environmental policy interpretation, environmental process management, renewable energy permitting development activities, experience with mitigation development and application, natural resource management, community engagement, and stakeholder outreach.
- The successful candidate will bring a unique interdisciplinary perspective that integrates environmental science, policy, management, and environmental health to effectively address complex environmental challenges while balancing regulatory, operational, and community needs
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing relationships with current clients to ensure high-quality and compliant deliverables are produced.
- Establish and maintain standards, processes, and procedures that ensure a high level of project quality and targeted profitability is maintained on projects.
- 9+ years of project management experience, preferably in the utility with agency oversight industry
- M.S. in Engineering, Environmental Sciences/Policy and/or Land Use Planning
- Professional approach is appropriate to represent the company in all settings.
- Solid professional relationships with key regional clients and team partners.
- Successful experience supporting and growing revenues in utility markets.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results on challenging projects.
