Join us.</p> <h2>A Day in the Life:</h2> <p>In the position of Promotional Claims Accrual Analyst, you will perform ongoing review, management, analysis, and adjustments of&nbsp;promotional spend accruals related to customer promotional plans for month- and quarter-end close, working cross-functionally with internal functions to ensure accuracy, timeliness of the accrual.</p> <h2>The Impact You'll Make:</h2> <ul> <li>Responsible for regularly monitoring, updating, maintaining accruals to ensure accuracy for month-end and quarter end closing cycles related to Promotional Allowance accruals, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures,&nbsp;internal controls, &amp; GAAP rules. Update and review of monthly GL details and related financial postings to identify&nbsp;changes requiring updates. Participate in internal and external audit, as needed. Identify opportunities for process&nbsp;enhancements/improvements.</li> <li>Provide support to leadership by communicating insights on fluctuations within the Promotional Allowances accrual,&nbsp;expense, develop, deliver various analytical reports, and participate in adhoc assignments or projects, as needed.&nbsp;Collaborate, coach, support cross-functionally by providing guidance and instruction on best practices and process&nbsp;requirements.</li> <li>&nbsp;Responsible for the review of promotional planned revisions and/or cancellation requests to ensure proper information is recorded and administered appropriately when revising or cancelling promotions.</li> </ul> <h2>Who You Are:</h2> <ul> <li>Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of --Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, or other related studies</li> <li>Between 3-5 years of experience in Accounting</li> <li>Between 1-3 years of experience in analytics</li> <li>Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, and/or VIP-PPM knowledge etc. a plus.</li> <li>Strong understanding of accounting principles related to&nbsp;accruals, problem-solving and organization skills, self-motivated mindset with a proactive approach to taking the&nbsp;initiative.
