Public Affairs Analyst

LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Public Affairs Analyst to support Army logistics public affairs through strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, executive communications, and program integration. Responsibilities
- Support Army logistics public affairs initiatives through strategic communications, planning, stakeholder engagement, and program execution.
- Conduct research and analysis to evaluate communication requirements, emerging issues, organizational priorities, and stakeholder information needs.
- Develop executive-ready briefings, reports, communication plans, talking points, speeches, decision papers, presentations, and other written products supporting Army logistics leadership.
- Draft, review, and coordinate strategic communications, messaging, informational materials, and public affairs products for internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate communication activities and recommendations across multiple Army organizations and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and information sharing.
- Support planning and execution of communication strategies for programs, initiatives, and organizational priorities.
- Facilitate meetings, working groups, and communication planning sessions while documenting decisions and tracking follow-up actions.
- Monitor communication activities, milestones, deliverables, and action items to ensure timely execution.
- Synthesize complex operational and technical information into clear, concise communications for executive and stakeholder audiences.
- Develop communication metrics, dashboards, and analytical products to assess communication effectiveness and leadership visibility.
- Support media engagement, community outreach, stakeholder relations, and executive communication activities, as required.
- Support business development activities, including market research, proposal support, solution development, and client engagement, as required.
- Perform additional consulting, analytical, communications, and project support activities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Affairs, English, Marketing, Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Three or more years of professional experience supporting Army logistics, public affairs, strategic communications, DoD, or other complex Government organizations.
- Experience developing communication strategies, executive communications, public affairs products, or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using collaboration, content management, and communication tools.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, actionable communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, reports, speeches, presentations, and communication materials.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Available for occasional travel.
- This position requires an active Secret security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Affairs, Business, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
- Three years of experience supporting Army logistics, public affairs, or other DoD organizations.
- Experience supporting headquarters-level communications, executive messaging, stakeholder engagement, or strategic communication initiatives.
- Experience developing communication campaigns, executive reporting, digital communications, or communication performance metrics.
- Familiarity with digital communications, social media, multimedia content development, workflow modernization, or communication technologies.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional working groups and stakeholder engagements.
- Excellent research, writing, editing, briefing, and staff coordination skills.
Targeted Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000
