Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role:   

Our Systems and Support team is growing, and we’re looking for two Quality Analysts to join our Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) based in either our Auckland or Christchurch office. Working Monday to Friday, you’ll support continued delivery of excellent service to patients.

As a Quality Analyst, you’ll use data from reviews and audits to identify trends, analyse performance, and provide insights across Primary Triage and Dispatch. You’ll recognise consistent high performance while identifying opportunities to enhance training, processes, systems, and individual performance. You may also be responsible for conducting targeted reviews and focused audits to support quality improvement initiatives.

With a strong focus on evidence-based solutions and data-driven decision making, you’ll collaborate with the Quality team, IOC leaders, and wider organisation stakeholders to support meaningful improvements and enhance the service we deliver to our communities.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • An EMD-Q qualification or be working towards one (essential).
  • Current qualification and experience as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) (essential).
  • Ideally, three years’ experience in a trending, quality, or analyst-focused role.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify trends, analyse complex issues, and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience conducting detailed reviews, examinations, and investigations into complex matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Confidence using technology and systems, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access), CAD, AQUA, and ProQA.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while managing competing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to improving customer and stakeholder outcomes, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong relationship-building and advocacy skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A commitment to respecting and valuing diverse needs, perspectives, and cultures.
