WHAT DOES A QUALITY ANALYST DO?
The Quality Analyst (QA) plays a crucial role in our software development process, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they reach our customers. As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, analyzing test results, and reporting on defects. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and provide valuable feedback on product design and usability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software products meet quality standards and specifications
- Analyze test results and report defects to relevant stakeholders
- Identify, track, and document software issues and report them to the project team
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure software meets business and technical requirements
- Recommend improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate work time records in the time entry system
- Continuously develop skills needed for effectiveness in the role and stay current with industrytrends and best practices modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
2+ years of experience working in the software development industry, with a focus on software testing.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches, and the software development life cycle.
In-depth knowledge of test planning and execution, with hands-on experience designing and executing test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
Proven track record of identifying and reporting defects and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues and improve software quality.
Experience testing a range of software products, including web applications, mobile apps, and emails.
Experience with cross-browser apps like Sauce Labs a plus
