Our role is to upscale Nordea’s models and frameworks for internal expected loss. These are the values that guide us in how we work and how we make decisions – and that we imagine you share with us.  What you’ll be doing Main responsibilities in this role: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Design and implement large datasets to solve complex problems</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Develop quantitative models within the IFRS9 and stress testing suite of credit risk models</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Develop Python based tools to simulate portfolio impact for various scenario analysis, including stress testing and macro sensitivities</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Build relationships with different stakeholders within and outside the bank to facilitate understanding on our models and framework</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Provide sharp data analytics to contribute to key decisions</li> </ul> Who you are This is the right role for you if you: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">Show quantitative analytical capability, proactivity and problem-solving skills to find solutions to loosely defined problems</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Enjoy working hands-on with large datasets using Python, Spark and SQL but are equally comfortable discussing results with stakeholders</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Can prioritize what is most important and are committed to deliver high quality on time</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Are dependable, willing to speak up even when it’s difficult</li> </ul> Your background and skills include: <ul> <li style="text-align:justify">An academic degree (MSc or PhD) within a quantitative field, including but not limited to statistics, mathematics, economics or engineering</li> <li style="text-align:justify">At least two years’ experience working with data and models</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Proficiency with programming languages and environments such as Python, SQL, Pyspark, Jupyterhub etc.</li> <li style="text-align:justify">Full proficiency in English, since all communication will be in English</li> </ul> What we offer People come here when they want to get somewhere.
