Regional Financial Analyst

Sirva is now seeking for a Regional Financial Analyst to support our team based in Malaysia.   This role does offer work-from-home flexibility following an initial training period in the office. In addition to work-from-home flexibility, Sirva also has other flexibility initiatives to support work-life-balance.   What’s Involved? The Regional Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis of financial performance in APAC and be an active business partner with the other functions to drive growth and improve profitability throughout the region. Responsible for reviewing the accuracy of numbers, and reasonableness of variance explanations of actuals vs. budget and forecast; include reporting of key findings to Asia-Pacific management and Group Accounting. Key Responsibilities Provide financial support with the quarterly and annual strategic and profit plan for APAC. Regularly provide regional Commercial Teams with key operating statistics and variance analysis including budgets, forecasts, and key ratios. Complete detailed annual budgets for the business units the position supports. Diligently work with program managers and key leadership within the business unit as well as corporate and other related business units. Identify opportunities to improve the data flow of information to the Director, FP&A regarding Management Business Review decks. Review commentary in Management Business Review decks to ensure consolidating comments have been eliminated. Provide local Senior Leadership Team with updated KPI Scorecards monthly. Own the monthly accounting treatment of the APAC COE. Includes accurate monthly actual chargebacks to each Business Unit supported by the COE. What do you bring to the role?  At least 3 years of financial analysis experience, preferably gained from a progressive MNC. Experience working in a regional office is an advantage. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills are a must Experience with Essbase is highly desirable. Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.   Education/Certification Requirements Degree in Accountancy / ACCA High school diploma or equivalent. University/college degree preferred.
