The Region Director is responsible for overseeing and driving the operational and financial performance of multiple branches within a designated geographic region <$15M.    Education:   <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in business management, horticulture, or a related field or equivalent experience is required. </li> <li>Relevant certifications or advanced education in business, leadership, or industry-specific fields is a plus.  </li> </ul> Experience:   <ul> <li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in the lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services industry, with at least 7 years in a leadership or management role. </li> <li>Proven track record of managing multiple locations or teams, driving operational performance, and achieving financial objectives. </li> <li>Strong experience in budget management, strategic planning, and team leadership. </li> <li>Obtaining and maintaining applicator license(s) by applicable state(s) is required.  </li> </ul> Skills:   <ul> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  </li> <li>Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability. </li> <li>Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and ensuring cost control. </li> <li>Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. </li> <li>Excellent customer service and client relationship management abilities. </li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and business management software. </li> <li>Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities. </li> <li>Knowledge of operational best practices and continuous improvement strategies.  </li> </ul> General Responsibilities:  <ul> <li>Oversee the operations of multiple branches within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with company goals, regional objectives, and overall business strategy.  </li> <li>Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, improve service quality, and enhance customer satisfaction. </li> <li>Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of branches, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.  </li> <li>Develop and manage the region's budget, including revenue forecasts, expense management, and cost control initiatives.  </li> <li>Monitor P&L for each branch and the overall region, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and reduce operational costs. </li> <li>Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and other key team members across the region.  </li> <li>Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to ensure a high level of performance and employee engagement. </li> <li>Ensure that customer needs are met, and that service delivery meets or exceeds expectations.  </li> <li>Address escalated customer concerns, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that feedback is used to improve service quality. </li> <li>Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee productivity.  </li> <li>Provide regular reports to senior leadership and identify areas for improvement or growth. </li> <li>Ensure all branches within the region are compliant with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices. </li> <li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs across all branches in the region.  </li> <li>Work closely with corporate teams, including HR, marketing, customer service, and safety departments, to ensure alignment on regional objectives and initiatives.  </li> <li>Identify potential risks in the region, including operational, financial, or compliance-related risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. </li> <li>Ensure that branches are adequately staffed with the right talent, including recruiting, training, and retaining employees.  </li> <li>Oversee resource allocation, ensuring that branches have the tools, equipment, and support necessary for success. </li> <li>Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry changes within the region.</li> </ul> We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and provide consideration for an employment relationship without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity, genetic predisposition, national origin, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
