About Your Workplace
 

Join Miele’s Information Technology team and play a key role in supporting our business through reliable, accurate and insightful reporting. As a Reporting Analyst (Contract), you will work across a diverse data landscape, ensuring the smooth operation of reporting processes and supporting stakeholders with data-driven insights. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, systems and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
 

Your Responsibilities

  • Reporting & data delivery: develop and maintain SQL-driven reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of business-critical data
  • Data validation & quality: monitor, validate and troubleshoot reporting outputs across SQL, Excel and integration processes
  • Systems & integration support: support SSIS packages, ETL processes, PowerShell workflows and file-based integrations
  • Stakeholder engagement: work closely with business teams to understand reporting needs and provide insights and support
  • Power BI & reporting tools: assist with dataset refresh monitoring and basic report updates across BI platforms
  • Process improvement: identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation and data quality
  • Documentation & governance: maintain clear documentation and ensure adherence to change management and reporting standards


What We Are Looking For
 

Must-have:

  • Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, stored procedures, views)
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, data connections)
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or similar
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot reporting issues


Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools
  • Experience in BI, reporting or data support roles
  • Exposure to SharePoint or legacy reporting systems
